1.5 CEU of Core Competencies awaiting approval

Join us in January for a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves coaching workshop. Deepen your learning while you deepen your professional network and make some new friends. You’ll get to know the updated ICF Core Competency Model and improve your coaching skills during this highly interactive program. If you are new to coaching, you can be the client or observer – a perfect opportunity to experience coaching with no pressure!

Senior coaches will facilitate 3 separate stations, each with a different case scenario. You will rotate through two of the three stations during our event and then we’ll have a full-group debrief and discussion. The scenarios will cover 3 types of clients:

  • Health & Wellness/Life client
  •  Leadership/Executive client
  •  Life Transition client

You’ll get to work through your choice of two of the scenarios and will interact as either the coach, client and/or observer, followed by a small-group discussion with your trio and with the facilitator. We will also have a full-group discussion about the updated Core Competency Model and how you can apply what you have learned in your coaching practice.

Join us as we grow in excellence and community and have some fun. Get to know your fellow ICF Connecticut members.

1.0 CEU in Resource Development

ICF Credential-holders are part of a self-regulating group of elite coaches who provide accountability to clients and the coaching profession as a whole. They pursue and complete rigorous education and practice requirements that provide unquestioned legitimacy to their commitment to excellence in coaching. Join us on Feb. 14, at 8 am for an informative webinar about the credentialing process, the requirements for credentialing, and how to apply. Come and get all your questions answered right from the source.

The ICF core competencies are in the process of being updated. The revised version of the ICF Code of Ethics has been approved by the ICF Global Board of Directors. The updated Code will be effective beginning January 1, 2020. The updated ICF Core Competency Model can be found at the bottom of this webpage,  https://coachfederation.org/core-competencies/

The focus of this program is on the current credentialing process and renewals for 2020.  The updated ICF core competencies will be required starting in 2021. There will be about 10 minutes to learn about some of the changes that are coming. We are in the beginning phase of the transition.
