   Going Virtual!

Until further notice:

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 virus, and after considering the recommendations of our health authorities, all chapter meetings and Coach Café’s will be virtual, at least through the end of April. There is an opportunity in this to meet the needs of the members in new ways. Virtual meetings can have educational, networking, and social support aspects and we plan to take advantage of that going forward.

Please stay engaged with the chapter by using the Forums on our web page (Tab is under Member). If you have any ideas or would like to host a virtual meeting at a day and time that is convenient for you, please let us know.

SCHEDULED WEBINARS:
  1. The March 27th meeting will now be a 90-minute “webinar” format with opportunities to introduce yourself, share your niche, ask/offer and even get into smaller breakout rooms to get to know your fellow members better. The description of the event will be on the website by early next week and will require registration for the Zoom link. We are making this event FREE to all members and non-members.

Anyone who has already registered for the in-person meeting will be refunded and will need to re-register for the webinar.

  2. The April 24th meeting, originally planned for Hartford, will be a webinar on Coaching Trends and Artificial Intelligence. Watch for the event to be posted soon. We will do our best to schedule an in-person meeting up in Hartford as soon as we can. The May meeting is still scheduled for Shelton and we’ll make decisions on that as time gets closer.

Please reach out to us if you need anything.

REMINDERS:

A portion of the message from Magda Mook, ICF CEO:

“This outbreak will impact all of us in some way—personally, in our families and in our communities. It will also impact our clients.

Coaching is a caring profession. ICF is a caring organization.

We’ve created a COVID-19 landing page for the ICF community at coachfederation.org/wecare. Please visit this page for updates from organizations including the World Health Organization, wellness and hygiene information, ideas for your own coaching practice, resources for supporting your clients, and more.”

Stay healthy, stay engaged, and reach out to your fellow members if you are feeling a little lonely!
