President’s Message - April 2020 |
Hello Coaches & Friends,
This has been a very humbling month. Our lives have been turned upside down by something out of our control. As coaches we look for a way to reframe, to look for the opportunity, or at least to not get drowned in negative thinking. I hope you are able to keep high spirits, continue coaching, and stay healthy!
As we are surrounded by uncertainty, there is one thing I want all of you to know.

Coaching Trends and Artificial Intelligence
April 24, 2020
ICF-CT Virtual Meeting
(Zoom video conference)
Meeting/Program 8:00 - 9:30 am
ICF CEUs: 1.5 Resource Development
Coaching is an ever-changing profession and we must be ready to adapt to what is available to us, now more than ever, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a good time to evaluate the current landscape of coaching and consider what our future options will be.
With the benefit of the research and data from ICF Global and a PowerPoint put together by ICF CEO, Magda Mook, we will explore where coaching stands now, where the profession is heading, and we’ll take a look at the emerging technology, including Artificial Intelligence, that will shape coaching in the future.
We will explore:
1. Coaching specialties
2. Coaching in organizations
3. The changing definition of coaching
4. Referring out to other sources
5. Other trends coming our way
6. Self-care for the coach
7. Emerging Technology
8. Artificial Intelligence and coaching
