President's Thank You Message

Wow! You plan a party and then you hope people will show up. Well, lots of people showed up for the
International Coaching Week celebration offered by our chapter. Raise the Bar Webinar: 5 Themes 5 Days of Learning was a resounding success. We can’t get together in person but we had a great virtual event with as many as 50 people attending the sessions and a total of over 500 registrations for the 13 webinars and 1 Coach Cafe. Fabulous!!

I’d like to acknowledge the leadership of Judy Garfinkel and the hard work of the ICW committee – Lori Candela, Sharon Jacobson, Steve Porcaro, Stephanie Tishler, Vivian Hardison, Naomi Rafalowicz, Jami Bertini, and Evelyn Jenkinson, plus the amazing work of our VA, Kathy Pujat who helped behind the scenes. Many more of you helped spread the word on social media and with friends and colleagues. We thank you!

The event couldn’t have happened without our volunteer presenters who shared their time and talent; Larry Ackerman, Lori Candela, Allison Holzer, Karen Kirchner, Manny Sousa, Suze Shaner, Linda Shaffer-Vanaria, Dina Markind, Isabella Isola, and Judy Garfinkel.

For the members who attended, please share your big takeaways in the Member Forum on the website. There is a stream labeled Post Event Discussions. What will you do with the knowledge you learned?

The May meeting will include this program by Jeff St. Laurent and a little chapter business at the opening and closing.

Every coach has one thing on their mind… getting new coaching clients that pay us.

That whole process begins with marketing and sharing our message. Social media, especially now, is a very viable way to do that.

While there are several ways to accomplish this using the different social media platforms, we must have a clear plan to begin and understand the process for it to be successful and create results. This webinar is all about how you can begin this process.

Points covered:

  • Understanding our main objective
  • How your niche matters with online marketing
  • Which social media platform to use and why
  • Two types of online marketing, Free/Paid and how to use each
  • Education based marketing
  • What we need set up to grow our influence
  • The real work of getting clients from our online work
  • What’s required from us
  • How to allocate your time
