Subject: Special Invitation for ICF- CT Board & Committees Members - please do not forward
From: Judy Garfinkel

Hi Board and Committee Members,

We are excited to announce a special program being offered to you – volunteers and volunteer leaders who give your time, energy, and expertise in service to our ICF-CT Chapter.

The Neuroscience of Coaching Around Racial Bias will be presented by Hayden Lee, MCC and Neuroscientist Kelly Kent, Ph.D., of Master Mind Institute.

This special offering is a wonderful learning and development opportunity for each of us as coaches. It will also give us, as chapter leaders, the opportunity to participate in, review and provide feedback on this program, prior to offering it to our chapter members and beyond.

What is it?

A 4-session in-depth dive into the brain science of race- and culture-based assumptions, both implicit and explicit, along with the coaching framework to guide us on our journey toward anti-racism.

This series explores the flaws and assets of the human brain in the context of systemic racism. The neuroscience is presented with a coaching approach for getting the uncomfortable but necessary work done. Topics include cognitive biases, emotions, the prefrontal cortex’s role in confronting bias and the importance of the socially wired brain.

Fee:  $149 total - it is requested that each participant attend all 4 sessions.

The value of the program is $199 and for this offering, the board opted out of any profit for the chapter so we can offer this program to you at a reduced rate.
