Chances are participants in our pro bono coaching/information sessions may have some interesting experiences and learnings from the week to share! In this session, we invite the ICW pro bono coaches and those who received pro bono coaching to share their experiences and any insights gained about the coaching process. In the spirit of coaching, let’s have a candid discussion about our successes and opportunities. All members and guests are welcome to join this free virtual discussion, as well.
This event will be facilitated by members of the ICW 2022 Committee, Judy Garfinkel, Lori Candela, and Evelyn Jenkinson.
Judy Garfinkel, ACC, and ICF-CT President
With over 25 years of experience in professional development, teaching and personal growth, Judy is passionate about assisting individuals through career and life transitions. As Career Coach at Move Into Change since 2011, she guides clients through the various phases of career development. From discovering passions, identifying skills and accessing motivators to the practicalities of the job search, Judy excels at recognizing what is essential to clients and customizing resources that support their growth. She received her initial coaching training at The Life Purpose Institute and has a Master’s Degree in Holistic Thinking. Judy is a Board Certified Coach, ACC, and Certified Focusing Professional.
Lori Candela, ICF-CT President-elect
Lori has over 30 years of experience in the field of Learning and Development and is founder and principal of Training and Performance Solutions, LLC. Lori is ardent about helping others to feel and be competent, confident, and comfortable during turbulent times of constant change. Her strength is in listening actively and deeply and asking thought provoking questions that enable her clients to discover how to appreciate the past, recognize where they are in the change process and move forward to a create a new way of being. Lori helps leaders, teams and individuals focus on what they need to know and do to become resilient to change, manage it and thrive in the face of it. She brings calm to the chaos of change! Lori is a Certified Professional Coach and has a master’s degree in in Curriculum and Instructional Design / Training Design and Development and is a certified Dale Carnegie Trainer.
Evelyn Jenkinson, ICF-CT Marketing Committee
After more than two decades as a communications executive in the corporate world, juggling a demanding career and a growing family, Evelyn left corporate to become a coach, earning her professional certification following extensive training and education. She is an ICF-trained Board Certified Coach (BCC) focused on communication coaching for ambitious first-time managers and emerging leaders. Our communication style can advance or hinder our success in personal and professional relationships. Evelyn’s clients learn to become more comfortable expressing themselves, giving feedback, rallying teams, showing empathy and more.
