President's Message from Judy Garfinkel

Judy Garfinkel | Published on 10/5/2021

Hi Fellow Coaches,

Welcome to Autumn! Today, I bought a bag of Mackintosh apples so crisp that when I bit into one, the sound scared the birds away! I hope your Autumn has already begun with just the right amount of crunch, tart and sweet.

One of best things about Fall is the bounty that’s grown right here for us to enjoy.

Are you harvesting all the value you can get from your ICF-CT membership?

As current president of our chapter, people frequently contact me for coaching referrals. I direct each one to our website’s Find a Coach Directory. Do you have a complete profile in our directory? Did you know Find a Coach is searchable by specialty (and much more) so the people who need what you uniquely have to offer can find you? This is one of the benefits of membership, as it can help you build your practice. To take advantage of this benefit, your information must be there!

Here are some more ways to explore and “harvest” the community and learning with our chapter:

  • Check out our October offerings on the Events Page.
  • Be the change you want to see in our chapter.
    • Lend a hand – you can serve our ICF-CT coaching community by volunteering your help for one event (think - Holiday Party!) or on a committee.
    • See a need? Partner with one of our board members to fill it. Did you know that three coaching circles offered last spring came about because of ideas that members brought to our membership Chair, Naomi Rafalowicz?
The Board just finished our Annual Board Retreat where we set our priorities for this year. We’ve already begun planning and putting the wheels in motion to bring you programming that invites connection to yourself, to others, and to meaningful points of development along your coaching journey.

ICF-CT is bountiful because of you. Our members form a cornucopia of talents, skills, experience and creative ideas. We appreciate your contributions, engagement, and feedback!

I continue looking forward to supporting all of us to get the most out of our valuable time together.

Believing in you,

Judy
