As an ICF credentialed executive leadership coach, organizational development consultant, and mindfulness practitioner, Jean Stetz-Puchalski partners with clients to accelerate leader and team development with a focus on performance and wellbeing. Jean works with private individual clients and as a strategic business partner to organizations. She provides coaching, behavioral assessment and evaluation, speaking, training and leadership development services. Jean’s approach creates opportunities for people to learn and grow to be at their most creative, connected and productive selves in the organizational systems they work in. Jean’s ability to form supportive partnerships that capitalize on individual differences and the ability to strategically approach behavioral change is key to client success.
Jean’s systems approach includes the use of assessment, behavioral interviewing, observation, and 360-degree feedback regularly for engagements to obtain feedback, behavioral and situational data from the client, bosses, peers, direct reports, HR partners and other organizational stakeholders. Jean is a qualified level C assessment professional with formal training in the ethical administration, scoring, and interpretation of behavioral assessments. She is certified to administer and interpret key assessment tools to gain insight into individual, team, and organizational behavior and culture: Hogan Personality Assessments (MVPI, HDS, HDS, Judgement, HBRI); Immunity to Change Mapping for Individuals and Teams; Leadership Circle 360 Profile, Manager Edition 360 Profile, Leadership Culture 360 Survey; Mayer Savoy Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT); Meyers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator (MBTI); Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI); Whole Brain Thinking NBI™ Assessment (Neethling Brain Instrument); Energy Leadership Index (ELI-MP); DISC.
Jean holds a master’s degree in Applied Industrial Organizational Psychology, is a graduate of the Executive Coaching Academy, earned her coach certification through the Institute of Professional Coaching and holds the credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and mentor coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF). Jean also holds a Level One Mindfulness-Based Stress Reductions (MBSR) Teaching credential from Brown University.
Staying current in her field, Jean has held a variety of executive leadership roles in the professional coaching, organizational development and industrial psychology arenas. She is a past president of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Connecticut and a past co-chair of the Connecticut Psychologically Healthy Workplace Program of the American Psychological Association’s Center for Organizational Excellence. She holds membership in the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Psychological Association (APA), Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP),and remains fluent in the professional, ethical, and legal standards in employment testing, measurement, selection, and coaching (SIOP, APA Standards, ICF).
Outside of work, you will find Jean in the garden tending to her inner plant geek curious about the ecosystem around her. As a certified Master Gardener and member of the Pollinator Pathway board of directors, she serves communities through community outreach projects helping people to grow and connect to the natural world. Additionally, she proudly supports military veterans and their spouses providing pro-bono coaching and resilience training. Jean resides in Connecticut with her husband and a gaggle of American Buff geese and a guinea hen named perch.
