Hello everyone!
Let’s talk about PEP, our Program & Event Pass exclusively for ICF-CT members. We’ve got a great slate of events scheduled for the year, and PEP will provide them all to you at one low cost!
Our 2025-2026 PEP includes three in-person chapter meetings, each with an interactive program; six virtual events, and co-hosted regional virtual programs we choose to co-host (we’re hoping to offer as many as four). As always, virtual coach cafes and in-person local socials are available at no charge. That’s a lot of programming for $190!
First let’s take a look at our in-person events! These events provide the perfect opportunity to connect, network, and learn! We start with an in-person chapter meeting & interactive program (Southbury, CT) on Friday, September 26th: Lift as You Rise: a collective launch for a year of peer power and professional generosity, facilitated by our own Judy Garfinkle and Stephanie Tishler.
Get ready for an in-person, seasonal recharge on Friday, November 7th focused on providing our members with a session-filled day with tips & strategies for building a self-care toolkit to help you navigate the holiday season and beyond. In March (Shelton; date to be determined), our in-person tool share invites members to share mindfulness-based approaches they use to create presence and emotional awareness in their coaching sessions. Stay tuned for applications to be a part of both of these events!
That may well be $190 worth of program right there, but there’s more: 6 virtual events!
- Friday, October 17th, 12 pm – 2 pm: Jeffrey St. Laurent - Building your Referral Network in an Authentic Way.
- Friday, December 12th, 12 pm – 2 pm: Phillip Humm - Storytelling for Coaches: stand out, connect, and make your message stick.
- Tuesday, January 27th, 12 pm – 2 pm: James Garrett – Funcomfortable: how to help clients break out of their comfort zones (neuro-coaching).
- February’s date is still to be determined, but the topic is coaching ethics.
- April’s date and topic are still a work in progress, but trust me – it’s going to be meaningful & fun!
- Friday, June 26th, 12 pm – 2 pm: We bring our programming year to a close with Mary Cravats and Magnetize Your Message: how to explain coaching to attract new clients.
And if 3 in-person programs and six virtual events weren’t enough, we’re also hoping to find & share a number of virtual co-hosted programs. So far, we have one scheduled for Friday, September 12, 12:45 pm – 2 pm: Coach and Client: a deep dive into why values matter and how to apply them to all relationships.
All of our offerings will provide continuing coach education units, each one a different mix of core competencies and resource development. To register for any of the programs, please visit our Event calendar. But first – sign up for the Program & Event Pass and get in on this amazing offer!. To register for PEP, simply visit our Membership page.
One last note: Did you know that committee members get 50% their PEP membership. That’s right – everything listed above for just $95! Credentialing Support, In-person Meeting Management, Marketing, Membership, Programs, and Technology – so many ways to get involved and help make a difference! Visit our Committees page to explore which team might be a fit for you, and then contact the director of that committee to schedule a time to learn more.
Our program year is all about supporting ourselves, supporting each other, and supporting those we work with. Our programs have been organized around that theme, and PEP is a great way to join in and be a part of Connecticut’s community of supportive coaches!
As always, feel free to reach out to me directly to find out more, talk coaching, or simply connect. I hope to see you – either virtually or in-person at an upcoming event.
Until then,
Keep sparkling!
