Thank you to those who participated in the member survey we conducted over the summer! We promised we would share the results, so here’s what we learned and how we’re responding:
Members want more information about the credentialing process, specifically related to core competency review, preparation for the PCC/MCC exam, and help with the application process. The chapter offers support for members in all these areas:
- Contact a member of our new Credentialing Support Committee, which offers ongoing support and can answer questions.
- Join the Professional Enrichment Group, Applying Core Competencies to Promote Best Practices, every month beginning on Friday, September 19, at 8:30 a.m. Check the events calendar for future dates.
- Attend the Credentialing Exam Preparedness Info Session on Wednesday, October 29, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Ask your application questions at the Credentialing Q&A session on Wednesday, November 12, from noon to 1 p.m.
The newsletter is the most popular way to hear about chapter offerings.
We have nearly 600 subscribers with a high open rate. Our Marketing Committee will continue to keep you informed with our current communications via the email newsletter and social media. You can also visit our website events page and LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to learn about chapter news and upcoming events and to connect with members.
Professional growth is the most valuable benefit of the chapter, according to nearly half of respondents. About 28% said they value community support and 24% appreciate education hours.
Our Programs, Education & Professional Development Committee continues to add to our robust calendar of events. Many of these offer CCEUs for earning/renewing credentials. Be sure to check the calendar of events periodically.
Thank you again for your thoughtful comments and ideas. Your feedback is vital to help us create chapter offerings that support you, your business, and our communities. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming program and connecting with you on social media.
