Kick Off Your Upcoming Conference with a Two-Part Improv Experience
Our chapter’s first inaugural conference kicks off with a special two-part improv experience, Coaching with a Twist: Improv for Coaches, featuring Amy J. Warshawsky & Betsy Salkind!
On April 10th, join us for a virtual program at 12 pm EST (register here) and then continue the momentum in person, the evening before the conference on April 30th from 5-8 pm (register here).
Both will offer interactive sessions designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and deepen your coaching presence. Step into the improvisational nature of coaching to unlock greater connection, creativity, and freedom in your practice. (NOTE: Even if you’re not able to attend the conference, please consider participating on April 10!). You’ll learn to access a calm, resourceful state, listen and reflect with precision, and bring more playfulness and empathy into your conversations, all while integrating ICF core competencies.
Don’t miss this opportunity to loosen the script, trust your instincts, and elevate your coaching as we kick off the ICF-CT 2026 Conference!

Give Your Coaching Skills a Twist - Learn to Use Improv!
In this 90-minute session, participants will learn to use improv rules and structures from theatre and comedy, as well as those tailored just for coaches, to experiment, play and learn. You'll get comfortable with not pre-planning or getting ahead in your coaching conversations, and trust in the bottomless well of ideas and possibilities that we all (coaches and clients) have access to at any time.
Virtual Coach Café on April 15
A coach catch-up with a coffee (or another beverage) – online for your convenience. These events are casual opportunities to talk about all things coaching. All are welcome. There is no fee, but please register in advance.
Fine Tune Your ICF Core Competencies on April 17
These facilitated discussions are for chapter members only! Participants will consider the meaning, purpose and application of one competency through the lens of real-life coaching scenarios. We’ll then break into smaller groups to consider how the competencies can apply to their own coaching challenges.
For Members Only: Learn to Design & Facilitate Group Learning Experiences

The series starts Monday, April 20, 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm and runs through July 13th.
Each session must be registered for individually; 1.5 CCEUs per session.
Partnering with AI: Practical Use of AI for Coaching Professionals
This is a dynamic, hands-on session on April 21 is for coaches who want to use AI with confidence—without compromising ethics, presence, or coaching mastery. You’ll learn a simple, coach-friendly framework for what to delegate to AI, what to protect, and what to never outsource, then see real examples you can apply immediately: faster session prep, sharper questions, clearer theme-spotting, stronger between-session practices, and better follow-through that keeps the client in the driver’s seat. Our presenter, Susan Caesar, serves as the Director of Artificial Intelligence for ICF. She will also cover the essentials of responsible use—confidentiality, consent, bias, and data safety.
