Before I provide an overview of the upcoming program year, I’d like to share an exciting offer. Your board of directors wanted to do something special to celebrate both our 25th anniversary as a chapter and the members who continue to make us the vibrant chapter that we are. The offer is 50% off the Programs & Events Pass (PEP) for the 26-27 program year!
That’s right - a full year of programming for only $95.00! This is a limited time offer, available from the release of this email (August 27th) until registration closes for our September kick-off event (September 24th).
To take advantage of this half-price offer, you must register for PEP between those dates.
For those who may not be familiar with PEP, the fee includes the following programs:
- 3 in-person events (full day with lunch included)
- 6 virtual events
- 25% off registration for the second ICF-CT Conference
That’s a value of over $325 for just $95 - this is an offer you don’t want to miss! After September 24th, the fee for PEP returns to its regular price of $190. Regular pricing will also be in place for the 27-28 program year.
Still not convinced? Let’s take a closer look at what’s included and why. We’ll begin with the why. We recently asked you, our membership, what you’re looking for from your chapter. The response was clear: Opportunities for connection & building community, and programs to help develop both coaching and business skills. Specifically, you asked for skill-building programs that offer guidance in expanding visibility and confidence, building your coaching business, and running a sustainable practice. You asked, we listened - so get ready for a full year of programs and offerings designed with you in mind!
Similar to last year, I’ve considered my focus for moving through this second year of my term as president. Once again, I’d like to offer a theme for our time together - a thread to bind our diverse programs & events. It’s a theme that builds on the input of the membership and anchors our offers: Connect, Develop, Expand.
Connect: This one word represents both opportunities for coaches to build their ICF-CT coaching network, and for new coaches to connect with the profession of coaching. Connection is the launching pad, regardless of your coaching experience or coaching specialty.
Develop: For coaches who have an established coaching practice, and are ready to evolve both their coaching and their coaching practice, we’ll be offering opportunities to explore ways to move beyond one-on-one coaching by adding in additional coaching specialities (think team coaching, group coaching, etc.).
Expand: For those coaches ready to pivot - perhaps into ways to guide and nurture other coaches, or perhaps into other related ways of leveraging your skills, we’ll be providing opportunities to learn and grow professionally beyond the coaching arena (think mentor coaching, coach supervision, training, etc.).
Building from this vision - Connect, Develop, Expand - our board of directors and their committees have worked to develop a robust suite of offerings for our members. Let’s take a look at highlights for our monthly programs, conference, Member Only offerings, and other networking events.
First, monthly programs:

- September 25th: Session - Networking to Support Each Other, plus an interactive & engaging networking event (Courtyard by Marriott, Shelton, CT)
- November 13th: Seasonal Recharge for Coaches - get ready for the holiday season by taking part in a variety of self-care practices (Leadership Center Connecticut, Farmington, CT)
- April 30th: Business Development Day - for all coaching levels (Leadership Center Connecticut, Farmington, CT)
- 6 virtual events:
- October 30th: AI Coaching Agents
- December 11th: Ethics Case Study
- January 29th: Connect, Develop & Expand with ICF-CT Member Only Groups
- February 26th: #I Am Remarkable (Empowering Everyone to Celebrate Their Achievements in the Workplace and Beyond)
- March 12th: Beyond Referrals to Intentional Collaboration
- May 14th: Identifying & Building on Your “Secret Sauce”
Second, the return of the ICF-CT Conference! Building on the success of our inaugural conference last year, we are returning to the Wyndham Hotel in Southbury on June 10 & 11 of 2027, relaying another immersive opportunity for coaches of all levels and coaching specialties to connect, develop and expand.
Third, Member Only offerings. This is an area we’re focused on expanding, so much so that we’re devoting one of our monthly programs to roll it out! Our popular Professional Enrichment Group (focused on the ICF core competencies) will continue to set the pace and watch for a repeat of last year’s Facilitation & Design for Coaches offering. We’re also adding in additional groups - some focused on overall skill building of interest to all coaches, and others providing specialized networking & learning opportunities for focused coaching areas (executive & leadership coaching, career coaching, etc.). Keep watching our newsletter for more information as this area evolves!
Finally, our “open to all” networking events: in-person Local Socials and virtual Coach Cafes. Both types of events are spaces for new coaches, experienced coaches, and even those interested in becoming a coach to gather and ask questions, share their expertise, and create deeper connections with other coaches. Local Socials are offered as schedules align between social hosts and locations, so watch the newsletter and events calendar for a networking event near you. Coach Cafes are offered every first and third Wednesday of the month - 8:30 a.m. on the 1st Wednesday and 12:00 noon on the third. We’ll also be adding a monthly evening Coach Cafe soon, so watch the newsletter and events calendar for details.
